TAOHN sponsors an annual conference and coordinates with institutions of higher learning to provide approved continuing education units for its members and others working in the field of occupational health. Topics include information on various health and safety issues, as well as regulatory and compliance issues faced by our Tennessee employees in the workplace. Annual conferences are sponsored by local chapters on a rotating basis. This allows for members who are unable to travel across the state to have access to continuing education that is current and pertinent to their job responsibilities. It also offers an unparalleled opportunity to network with others and share experiences and discuss solutions to problems that health care workers charged with the management of employee health workers face daily. Local chapters also strive to meet the continuing education needs of members and affiliates by frequent educational offerings and seminars.
